Biggest problem with ARs
So Assault Rifles are by far the best primary weapons in multiplayer. Just watch any video of someone dominating and they are using an AR 100% of the time.
They will obviously need to be needed to be nerfed before the game starts so here is your opportunity to tell Bungie which part is the most OP.

Its not that they are op its just that everyone uses them so when you die its most likely you got killed by someone with a ar. So you think its op.

The biggest problem is not the AR itself but that rather the other weapons are quite weak in comparison, hence why Bungie is buffing them. Not all non-ARs are weak and not all ARs are strong. There are a few among each type that stand out, but when compared to something like the Shingen-C or Cydonia-AR3, almost everyone will opt for the better performer. Which is why they are so over-used and regarded as "OP".

They're fine the way they are. Scout rifles are better on larger maps anyway. The only reason everyone used ARs was because everything else sucked (except scout rifles on the moon). Pulse rifles and hand cannons are getting a buff so hopefully they will be able to compete with ARs.

Some people just like to use the weapon. Obviously it's easier but if you know how to use the other weapons you should be fine.

venus mars and earth are geared towards ARs, the moon you can easily use a scout rifle and be fine. just wait till we see all the maps
