Because you have the idiots on these forums, like Lovell, that go on and on about there awesome KD, and how they are "pro", and wanna be MLG. When they arnt MLG in the slightest at all. 99.9% of the people that posted in this thread, that said "they are semi hardcore" and "pro" gaming, just proved my point. You are not pro, you probably arnt even that hardcore, please stop, it's just childish.

Well you are welcome to go look at his past post/threads. Heck I can quote in this thread where he says he is part pro. And people like that are the reason people hate "MLG" wanna bes.

Ok. Well then, in response to your original post. Since you want me to present myself as a mature individual. Lovell is very good at this game. He cares about his stats. He tells people he cares about his stats. You tell people you don't care about your stats. There are differences in what people like. Accept them and you'll find yourself not hating people because they act good at something they are good at. Through all of this argument I have seen barely anyone claim to be MLG. Claiming you are a competitive player is different. Our clan has participated in traveling Gamebattle MLG tournaments and plan to do so in Destiny. Keep telling us we aren't competitive, but we actually are. I find it hard to believe that you are entitled enough to dictate that 99.9% of all players are not hardcore. When I plan on getting on at launch at 3 am and continuing to play with a 1 hour break for classes for the next 24 hours, I think I can determine if I am playing the game "hardcore" or not.

  • I used you as an example because you called out a player for caring heavily about his stats. I'm childish and that's the only response you could muster? Please continue.

It's good to know that's the only qualm you have with my post. Lovell is very good at this game. He cares about his stats. He tells people he cares about his stats. Others tell people they don't care about their stats. There are differences in what people like. Accept them and you'll find yourself not hating people because they act good at something they are good at. Through all of this argument I have seen barely anyone claim to be MLG. When I plan on getting on at launch at 3 am and continuing to play with a 1 hour break for classes for the next 24 hours, I think I can determine if I am playing the game "hardcore" or not. That better for you bby? Or is it still not time to have a real discussion yet?

And you continue to use entitled in the wrong context. Are you sure you know what it means? And where did I say I don't accept people?

Entitled: give (someone) a legal right or a just claim to receive or do something. You believe you are entitled to dictate whether players are hardcore or not. This is the correct context. I'm not sure what delusional definition of entitlement you are thinking of. You called Lovell, and all players on this forum that go on about their KD and talk about being pro, "idiots". You explicitly tell all players who claim they are "semi-hardcore" or "pro" "please stop, it's just childish." Sometimes people act like children. You have made it very obvious you do not like these people, and wish for them to change their behavior. This clearly shows that you do not accept their behavior. If you want to continue to attempt to debunk my semantics and fail, feel free. I will continue to refute your thoughts. If you want to grow up, mature some, and have a real discussion on the matter at hand (which happens to be pro gamers, not that one word on the second line of my third paragraph which was used arbitrarily) then I will be more than willing to have a worthwhile chat, and leave the silly stuff behind. Until then, continue to act the fool.

  •
You are not pro, you probably arnt even that hardcore, please stop, it's just childish.
This is you dictating whether players are hardcore or not. I never mentioned the word when. This is quite amusing.

Lol do you work for Webster? I mean seriously are we gonna talk about word definition or actually get something done here? I think sometimes casual players need to give credit where it's due. There's a fine line with a competitive player acting like a dick about how good he is, but rarely I ever see a casual say, "oh he's actually pretty good," RARELY!! It's okay to not be as good as a casual gamer, you don't play all the time no one expects you to be amazing. But when someone is good and talks about their KD being good, seems like 90% of the time people (mostly casuals) take that as an opportunity to attack the person or call him out as a wanna be pro prick.
