NO MM for Raids?
- Good. I don't want to spend my whole gaming time being let down by random people who suck. I will play with my friends thank you very much. What's that? You don't have 5 XBL or PSN friends? All the tools are there for you. Countless different forums, game chat and of course bungie.net.
NO Split-screen?
- That's a shame. I remember the last time a played split-screen. I was 12 and it was on PS1. I remember thinking how terrible it was then and I will never go back.
NO Private Matches?
- Why would I waste my time playing private matches? No loot, no XP, no Glimmer, no point. "Yeah but you can have clan matches". No thanks. 12 year old kids gloating so hard when they win, crying like little babies when they lose saying it's because my gear is better than theirs.
NO Forge?
- Guess what. Destiny isn't Halo. Guess what else. Bungie sold the rights to Halo for a shit ton of money and that probably included Forge. There's probably a contract somewhere that says they can't use a similar system in future games.
NO Trading?
- Don't want it. I'll be earning my gear by playing the game.
If you feel strongly that these aspects should've been included then you have 2 choices:
1- Buy the game because it's still awesome
2- Don't buy the game we don't care
Either way stop whining it's getting tired!
Edit:
Anyone looking to break the Vault of Glass or join a clan should consider the GRIMoire REAPERS. Hunters, Titans, Warlocks, everybody is welcome. PvP, PvE, Strikes and Raids, we are looking for clan members to participate in all that is Destiny.
We are a new clan but already have dedicated and casual members alike so you will always have options for your fire team. I have 100 friends who will be playing Destiny so this clan will grow significantly in the next 4 weeks. This is a clan intended for Xbox One Guardians.

I'm RuffRiider by the way. I'm in the UK. We have UK and US members so there will always be sometime to assemble a fire team with.

It's always funny seeing someone bitching about things they "don't care about". Like it would affect you at all if it was in the game.
-
"Why would I waste my time playing private matches? No loot, no XP, no Glimmer, no point." You literally just said the only reason to play games is for loot and XP. Get a life...
-
Amen man. This game is gonna be great people just need to stop getting angry about what the game doesn't have and should focus on what it does have.
-
it's great seeing post from people actually appreciating everything it has to offer rather than criticizing what it doesn't! maybe I'll take you up on the clan!
-
cant take a guy named ruffriider seriously.. sorry.
-
My butthurt detector is off the charts!

So basically, you're saying you're happy that a game doesn't have features that hurt nobody and offer even more to the player, nice. The only thing I'm ok with is no trading, so loot is much more meaningful. We were all stubborn pre-teens in our life at some point but flaunting your opinions aggressively on the internet is pretty shameful, have some self-respect.

Edited by CiRCUiT: 8/18/2014 11:42:15 PMSplit screen sucked? Wtf?, let me guess you don't like physical interaction and would rather play online instead of having fun with real people in the same room. You have nothing not to b**** about don't you. Not saying that I want split screen in destiny, because it just simply doesn't work. -_-OMG THE SUN!!! Is one of the Many things I can imagine you saying. Respectfully if you honestly think split screen is terrible...
-
You realize that other people having fun in modes you'll never use does not ruin your game, right?
-
No private matches means no tournament destiny. No practicing with your friends. No teaching your noob buddy how to land certain jumps. No matches with just friends. And this is good? You tool. It wouldn't be hard to implement it into the game, and if you don't like it don't private matches don't play them. If this game were to hit MLG it would significantly improve the competitive community
-
I played split screen on boarder lands and cod. I have a couple of good friends that simply cant afford the latest and greatest. So my brother and I buy game and set up the split screen. Our friends get to play with us and they are not financially obligated to invest in things they cant afford to play with us.
-
You think no split screen, private lobbies forge AND trading is a good thing? I've seen some drones in my time but you could be up there, all of these things add to the game positively in every way even if you your self opted to not use them. I can maybe see a case for split screen since it's not used to the degree that it once was but everything else would improve upon the games longevity immensely. And no trading in a game that features raids and rare loot is ridiculous, so say I want a certain hand cannon and my friend wants a certain auto rifle and oh what luck after we finish a raid we each get one, but he has the hand cannon and I the auto rifle should be pretty straight forward as to what happens next right? Well not in destiny, scrap it and keep grinding you monkey apparently trading is just too complex.
Then why would you waste your time with those people when you play PvP which has matchmaking as well? Would you not benefit from a private game option then because playing with friends is more fun to you?
I will play with my friends thank you very much
. I'm confused.

I actually would of at least liked to have private matches and split screen to open things up a bit for when you have friends over.
-
TL:DR I don't use them, so no one should be allowed to have these features.
-
You sound a bit whiney yourself.
-
I would have to agree . All tho I like dual with friends it was more of testing my equipment to see what damage I could give or take . I would hate to see a good game turn into a game were people r more interested in what they can farm and sell than play the game . If thats what the want play a game where u can be a merchant.
-
Nice advertisement
-
I completely agree. That stuff Might work for halo but I think destiny is better without it
-
I respect and adore this post sir. Happy hunting on the one, ill be similar to keep you in my thoughts on the 360 guardian.
-
i not sure about matchmaking.. i have always found it a good way to meet new people in the past. no split screen - whats the point of split screen these days ((except in minecraft or racing games that don't need that much detail )) private matches are the flavor of the week no one made a fuss until this week :P Forge - no idea what is so.. no Trading - trading is only good if it actually means wealth is a feature thats good which it is not . from last point Hi also from UK :P
-
u must b a rly shitty player
-
Direct and well educated... I vale this post and respect it, all I would like to say is that I like Splitscreen. It allows me to play with my friends right then and there, and it usually is more fun.

Great post bro!
