Even if you are right. Which I tend to agree to some extent. The vast majority of players are here for pve. Many (like me) won't even touch pvp because we don't have the time or want to expend the effort required to be "skilled" so in general, since we are the majority we will get what we want. Sorry but this game is pve focused. Get on the bandwagon or go home. Just the way it is.

Although playing pve does lower your pvp trials and thus experience at pvp maps, which limits your room to grow as a pvp player. I've been playin halo PVE and PVP since 2001, among many COD pvp matches as well. I didn't play as much pvp in the beta as I will in the full game but I did well enough with my main to borderline 2.0kpd. Nice stats dude, you surely played your heart out on pvp. In my very limited time playing pvp I was proud of my 15 precision kill stat but yours beat it by two, first person I see.

I support pve mainly and have more kills in PvE than PvP and my KD doesn't suck .-.

The people that don't support pve are the ones that need to gtfo, pvp is only one aspect of all that destiny has to offer. The people with more crucible kills then others, put more time into pvp because we were capped at 8, not like we could run through the story. Thank you for your input.

Or, how about we stop trying to generalize the population of these boards into two groups? it's not always black and white. I am far more interested in PvE at the moment, but I have friends who are focused on PvP, and I personally will partake in PvP after I get my fix of story/gear. The problem here is, People are being so self-centered, and unrealistic. This is supposed to be an all-encompassing game. I don't think not having private matches right off the bat will hurt anything long-term, but I do think they need to add it in by christmas if they want this game to be long-term. If you look at all the other long-term PvP FPS games, they all had clan vs clan matches. Take MAG for example. They didn't include a clan vs. clan feature, but people still made it happen via queue syncing. But without true clan battles, the game petered out within a year to where it was nearly impossible to get into a domination (256 player match). After two years, the only thing you could get into was the smallest game mode. and then the servers shut down. MAG was a great FPS game, with poor development choices. A healthy clan PvP structure helps keep game communities going for years. Certainly you don't NEED it for the game to be successful, but you will retain a lot more people if you do have a means for clans to battle each other.

And PVP gamers hate campers......evidently cause the camper is too smart for them and uses terrain for cover and deffensive tactic's. Does that mean pvp players are idiots............?......I am not saying it does but by your way of thinking it does.......bite on that

Either all these little girls have proven the fact that "those who go together, flow together" or the 6 week wait between when "they knew they were so awesome in beta" and "they need to show somebody in the game" is making them all bat $h!t crazy. Instead of posting this sad post on the forums for a game that you know you will love despite how much you will bitch about it, how about you go ask your dad to take you out side and play catch because this is clearly a cry for attention.

Good luck getting exotics from the random low level loot system in pvp. I also hope to see you in the crucible. My raid clan likes to stomp those grounds as well.

Yet i manage to end up on top of the scoreboards 80% of the time with a respectable kdr of 2,23 overall in the crucible. 2 RepliesSo much wrong with this post. I don't even know where to begin for one, Destiny is a PvE central game. The PvP is just extra to give you something else to do. It was never meant to be the focus of the game. 2. the people who support PvE? Are you saying there are people who disapprove of PvE being in this game? If you are only getting Destiny for PvP, then you might as well go play titanfall or a similar multiplayer only game. Its just a waste to get a game and only play 10% of it. 3. You act as if people can't play both PvE AND PvP. both are fun in their own respects. And I have yet to see a single person support the decision of no private matches in destiny outright. Nobody is completely ok with this. Everybody would love to go into a game with just their friends to fool around if nothing else. 4. AIs can be made much more difficult to deal with than any player can. They may not have the exact same intelligence, but they can decimate you nonetheless. It takes just as much skill and strategy to kill high level AI as it does a player. 5. I have met MANY people in pvp who are the exact opposite of skilled. The two have no correlation.

I love pve but stil can kick some ass in pvp, i mean in halo reach i shot 3 sniper bullets out the air on pvp. I didn't se you doing that (i saved other spartens with it to) so its not all the pve players that suck at pvp.
