Allow me to move my 60 inch tv, xbox 360 and surround sound over to my friends house just so I can have a similar gaming experience... No thanks. I prefer having the option to split screen.

Why not play online with each other?

I did exactly that for Borderlands 2, I don't have a car ether, so traveled by train.
The game even has splitscreen, but Why should I have to suffer with half the screen size when moving with my TVs is doable?
The split screen on Borderlands is terrible.
-
Possible, but a huge pain in the ass for sure. I have no problem moving my 360 everywhere, but my tv? I'm not very muscular... I'm 17 weighing in at around 110. Moving a 60 inch up the stairs and out the door isn't something I'm capable of. Haha

I'm 20 at 180lbs, I put my Xbox and sound system (plus an extension lead, games, food and drink) into my 60lt Army backpack, carry my Tv down two flights of stairs and then 400m down the road to the station, and once off the train, 200m down the road and up another flight of stairs... I just want the best gaming experience each time.

Attaboy!

Cheers man.
-
Hahahah..... Never will I do this xD

I'm not surprised, most people wouldn't, that's Why they want splitscreen, but I don't spend money on a Tv, console and game, to then not have to use any of it to play it round a friends. Makes the entire marketing side of the game pointless.
-
I suppose, but it seems much more practical to play split screen than carrying around your entire entertainment room haha.

Edited by ScottOnSheppey: 8/15/2014 10:57:40 PMMakes it more convenient for the player, I agree. But look at all the money lost otherwise. Sony/Microsoft miss out on money that could potentially be another console sale. Bungie/Activition miss out on another game sale. Bungie also misses out on money spent.on a development team implementing split screen into the game... The only person gaining out of this, is the occasional player, that wants to play with friends without moving their gear.

Maybe you should move closer to your friend. ;)

I'm not entirely sure if all the problems would be fixed even if I were to move closer... Lol
