Our ghost brought us back to life when we were chosen to be guardians, so wouldn't it make more sense for our ghost to be the ones reviving our fallen teammates?
As it stands right now, we hold down a button till our teammate is revived, which is kind of boring. Revives should be more dynamic, as we should be able to deploy our ghost and defend while they do the reviving. Of course the time required to revive a teammate would be increased to make things more challenging and your guardian would still be required to be within a certain distance of the fallen teammate, as opposed to just standing there missing out on the action. It would make reviving a lot more interesting than it is now.

Hey guys, take another look at a players respawn location. That is their (the downed player's) Ghost fully extended (all the little bits fully arrayed out) above their corpse. Boom, Power of the Light yo.

Seems like Killzone.

What if your ghost shot by mobs, if ghost die, you die! and FYI, Ghost is your soul and spirit.

The ghost reviving you in the beginning risks his life looking for you, and he'd rather have you walk him up to a dead comrade
-
It promotes team work. Not the whole lone wolf thing people are trying to pull off.

Edited by CheckForAPulse: 8/14/2014 3:24:32 AMPersonally, I think the way it is now (as boring as it may seem) is fine. I think the point of it is to force you to make an executive decision whether to revive and leave yourself exposed, or leave them and stay safe yourself. Just being able to have the ghost do the work while you still have access to being able to use super/ability/fire at enemies will make it incredibly mundane.

Their ghost is the one doing the work...not yours.

There is one major problem with this. If the revive time is too short it will be way to easy to revive someone, but if it is too long it would almost be pointless because they could respawn anyway without having to be revived (bungie recently said that the respawn timer in the 3v3 pvp modes with revives turned on was 10 seconds)

Amazing idea. Instead of losing the opportunity to contribute to an ongoing firefight, you could continue to provide fire, while covering your ghost as it heals the downed party member. It would certainly maintain the action, and - as you said - allow for more a dynamic 'revive experience.'

I don't see that fitting the playstyle of the game in my opinion. That would be way lame to do in the middle of a raid boss fight.

Reviving takes like 4 seconds and the range of the revive was good enough to avoid damage also you could shoot back while reviving

Like this idea as well

I like this idea a lot!

This is a great idea, way better than hold square/x.
