You scrubs know who you are! You come from fps games that take no skill with your "quick scoping", then try an fps that requires actual skill to play, you get your scrubby ass handed to you because its not a twitch shooter, and then you cry that stuff is way to "OP" and that it needs a nerf. Only so that you have the chance to get any kills. I watched it happen in the last fps that required some skill to play, to the point that it killed the game.
The only thing we know about destiny is what we learned in the alpha and beta, so why are all the no skill scrubs crying for nerfs before the full game comes out? Do you want this game to be no better then the next *** game, where you don't need any kind of skill to play it and only you scrubs can enjoy playing the game? Or can we finally have an fps game that everyone can enjoy, where there are aspects of the game that every kind of player can have something to do, without the scrubs calling for stuff to be nerfed?
EDIT: I am just so fed up with all the nerfing in games because i just came from another fps game where during the closed and open betas it was the funnest game to play, and then they opened it up to the public and all the twitch fps gamers came in the game and ruined everything, that was epic about the game, and got us locked into an endless nerf/buff cycle that has made it so that no new content can be developed brought into the game over the buff/nerf cycle and i would hate to see such an epic game as Destiny fall into ruin over the same thing.

Human nature. 1. There will always be people who will respond to adversity---not by rising to the challenge---but by complaining and demanding that the world be handed to them in their comfort zone. Actually someone wiser than I once said, "The central fact of the human drama is that we all want that world to change....so that we can stay the same." 2. The Internet, unfortunately, gives a platform and a bullhorn to such complainers. Thus making what is a vocal and obnoxious minority (in the vast majority of cases) appear to be much bigger, louder, and more important than they actually are. 3. You are dealing with young people here. Many of whom were raised by "helicopter parents". Parents who parent from their own anxiety and guilt...rather than what is in the best interests of the child. So they feel compelled to "smooth" life's bumps for their children, rather than helping them learn to adapt to difficulties and overcome them. As a result....when confronted with difficulty...they complain and expect someone to make it go away. Because that is what they've been taught to do.

Edited by CjNoir187: 8/15/2014 4:24:36 AMI was awful at pVp was thrilled to get 8 kills in one iron banner match lol but I'm aware I suck at it due to not having played many fps games before and not caring enough to devote a great deal of time to it. I don't think it should be made easier for people like me because I understand other people just have more skill and put the time in.

the path of a skilled warior starts with steps of shame, thru death and defeat, skilles are honed, after mastering ones weaknesses you can truly cal yourself skilled.

Edited by Nikorey: 8/15/2014 3:11:15 PMI'm tired of it as well I did amazing in pvp with the guns on my guardian and anyone could get them so it's obviously not the guns and on top of that lvl privileges were off most of the time
-
Thats all people do. I think back to what made Socom 2 my favorite shooter. No patches, one sided maps and weapons but powerful tactical team play to over come scrubs using those advantages. Now as I play the game putting hundreds of hours into it, some forums warrior with 30 hours complains to bungie that gun A is overpowered because he continues to die by it. Instead of playing the game, learning how to adept and getting better, they cry "nerf nerf nerffffff".

Edited by Ujurak: 8/17/2014 3:35:15 PMMost "kids" thought that Destiny was going to be like Call of Duty. Just because it had the Activision label. They need to practice the more skillful game, Halo, to get good before Destiny comes out. These kids are trying to make Destiny, another Treyarch recycled piece of crap! I'm a 12 year old kid who has basically played halo all my life,( since 2005) and I don't mind any supers or vehicles or maps. Trust the best gaming company in the world, Bungie, and they will make the best game ever. Until next time guardians...
-
I trust in Bungie, I don't think they'll dumb down their game for these noobs. You either adapt or not play, this isn't Call of Duty where the game holds your hand. Honestly if the CoD devs stayed strong and never catered to bad players, the game would probably still be good.
-
I'm pretty good in quick scoping and I'm pretty good on destiny also....
-
if anything the guns need a nerf because this IS a twitch shooter right now
-
Well to thos who suck don't worry there's match making
-
And who's tired of the no skill players only using OP broke shit?
-
Stop playing console FPS games if you want "skill". Play the free-to-play Quake 3--Quake Live!

I've always played fps with a mouse and g13. It took me over 100 hours of cod black ops just to get a little over noon. At best I have a .86 to 1.0 k/d ratio in destiny pvp. U don't see me complaining that all the weapons are open because I die to them.
-
The game doesn't need any nerfs... At least not straight away. Personally I am useless at PvP. My reactions and aim are too slow. That said I don't ever complain as I know it's my problem and not that things are OP so I just play as best as I can and try and gain points in other ways rather than just kills. Personally though I prefer the PvE elements so this game suits me down to the ground.

Edited by TuffMelon: 8/15/2014 5:09:44 AMHate to point it out, but the game was NOT perfectly balanced. Was it horrendously noticeable? Not really, it just showed when looking at the grand scheme of things Was it game breakingly awful? Depends what you mean by that. It certainly didnt stop me playing, thats for sure. Did i expect anything else? of course not, it WAS the beta we were playing. Did it ruin my enjoyment? No, of course not. Its still a spectacular game. People who are complaining because what they played IN THE BETA (and dont gimme this 'beta is too far along to change much' BS, all they need to do is tweak numbers and etc, which they have been doing, apparently) isnt their ideal design are either a) too used to games where everything is spoon fed to them, or b) treating the Beta like nothing more then a game demo. I mean, you can hardly blame the latter, due to what so many 'betas' are these days, but theyre far too quick to jump to conclusions, and anyone who gets angry to the point out outright whinging are missing the point of constructive criticism. Out of curiosity, which game are you speaking of?
-
Dear game designers, Please nerf scissors they are OP. Rock is fine so leave it alone! I am perfectly balanced. Sincerely, Paper (aka all no skill noobs)
-
I agree. I cant stand all the people complaining that the auto rifle is too OP in pvp. No bitch, its called headshots. And plenty of times I was using the auto rifle and someone else was using the scout rifle and I got my ass handed to me. Its all about accuracy and skill. Nothing is ever overpowered. Just a bunch of whiny CoD crybabies polluting the Destiny forums.
-
Ha. YOU SCRUBS GOT ABSOLUTELY REKT.

Edited by Cardinal Erebus: 8/14/2014 4:26:05 AMCod players. The group no one should respond to because they are all like totes bro, 1v1 me IRL or Rust or die. Honestly whenever i see these post about nerfing i just write there name down and block them. They are a waste of time and an embarrassment to the game.
-
so true man the whole time beta was out i was destroyin everybody on the other team specialy in iron banner
-
Ive used a good selection of weapons and found all had their pros and cons. Didn't see any one of them that was glitched or OP. Head shots did take you down faster and that should be left alone. Learn the game or just get owned stop complaining, I cant stand having to re learn the weapons after every patch since more recoil or less damage, etc was issued to guns. :/
-
Or just screw skilled and casuals all together and just have fun because it's only a game? No? Okay I guess I'm the only one who will have fun
-
Bunch of casuals is all. It actually takes some skill. It's their first time experiencing something like this. Give them a little break. Maybe someday ( MAYBE ) they will get at least a little decent. Until then, let the casuals complain while you sit back and dominate.
-
I think it's funny how people think CoD and other shooters require no skill. Sure, some shooters are easier to adapt to depending on your play style, but with a little practice all shooters are pretty easy IMO. Get off your high horse thinking you're a badass just because you play one shooter over another, they are games and games are easy to master with enough practice.

I want no changes to destiny it's great, if not perfect. I want people to just get used to it. If you nerf a game enough it changes to the point that no one truly enjoys it because it makes no sense. You wanna take a vehicle out use a rocket launcher or your super ability or shoot the driver out with some skill and luck. Assault rifles are great if you use them mid-range to close range, scout rifles are like marksmen rifles you need aim and a good trigger finger and pulse rifles are pure mid-range guns all guns require aim and proper occasion. Etc. for everything in this game has a balance in PvP it's all based on you skill set. Your a good marksmen the hunter is for you with them throwing knives, if your 1v1 guy who wants to ground and pound a player up close with skill take the Titan or if your a lets go and get it type of guy who can't make up his mind between a Titan or hunter pick the warlock, his easy to use and his a great first character to get you used to the game, plus his the strongest all around guardian. Don't make nerfs just get used to it and learn how to counter that move/weapon/class. It's all possible with time, patience and some skill.
