They put that stuff in so you could look but not use. Since there's no carry over it renders the loot useless now.

Now that I think bout it that is very cool but if u did get it you could. Show it off kind of like every one of my friends who got it :|

Got the ship & timurs lash pistol too! Some legendary body armor I can't remember the name. The ship was ugly though! Looked like a flying yellow brick with iron banner wolves on the side lol! I still proudly used it just because it was my trophy! The most interesting part is I got the ship on one of my worst matches! My controller broke and I only got a couple kills as my fire button would lock on & spray all my bullets! (I traded the PS4 controller in & bought a new one)Lol! I couldn't quite figure out how the awards were triggered because several times I saw ppl at the bottom get the really good stuff. Either way, I am excited beyond belief! The multiplayer looks amazing to me! No more cookie cutter COD, or BF bs (and all the copies) to deal with! Something fresh with awesome abilities and weapons! I love the support Bungie gives with on the fly weapon nerfs/boost. With the other FPS you would be lucky to see changes in OP weapons at all. If there was change in anything it would be months later in a huge patch! The point I guess I really want to make is there will always be trolls & haters! They don't get the needed attention in life so they take contrarian views just to get a rise out of the community! Negative attention is better than none, I guess! I try to ignore these poor souls! If they weren't a Bungie or Destiny fan they DEFINITELY wouldn't have a profile on this forum! Lol! Just ignore the trolls, if we don't feed them they might die! Or, go away!! Every video gets me more excited for the 9th to get here! My wife & I are taking that Monday & Tuesday off to enjoy the midnight release party at GameStop! She asked for the Destiny white PS4 bundle for her birthday! (I am still blown away by that request!!) #LuckiestManOnEarth I got the Limited Edition with steel book dlc packs! I'm really feeling out that we can have 2/3 of a 3 man fire team in the same house! The 6 man fire teams for end game raids/missions sound really awesome! I can't wait to see all of you out there somewhere in the galaxy as we take this epic journey together! See you starside guardians!

I was playing with a friend, in the Iron Banner in the space of 2 hours I witnessed him get Timurs Lash 3 times! It was hilarious to hear his reactions"how does this keep happening!?" The best part of the lot was he was never higher than third on the leaderboards for every one of our games. That drop system! 😄 I got nothing myself over the course of the beta, not that I minded.

when my friend got it he was in 3rd too. Also don't know why but got first place every match I played never got legendairy :(

The drop system is randomized so that players who don't play as well are still encouraged to participate. I think it's a good thing.

I noticed it was sort of random myself! Maybe the release will be kinder to you! Good luck!

Ha I really didn't mind. I prefer to get items from killing high level enemies on PVE, I'm most looking forward to the Strikes and the raid.

Same here the only raid was amazing played it like 7 times only one fried got bord of it lol

Ya, the Devils Lair in the Beta was actually a strike. I played it over and over myself. We didn't get access to a raid in the beta, the raids are intended to be very high level. You need a 6 man fire team to attempt them. Sounds like fun!
