What is up with all the people hating on PvP in this thread?
Did you guys honestly think that Bungie (who created some of the best fps multiplayer ever) weren't going to focus on PvP at all in this game?
It's like you guys feel threatened by it, and it's really confusing. Both the PvP and PvE will be great in this game.
I'm more of a PvP guy, but I don't go around bashing the PvE elements. How stupid would that be? Like I said they're both going to be great and I'll play a ton of PvP and finish all the PvE at least once.

Probably because roughly 90% of the people on this forum don't give a shit about pvp. There have been SEVERAL polls showing this. Everybody thought this was going to be a huge immersive pve game like they said it would be and now bungie keeps talking about pvp which gets people pissed

Of course not I don't care if it has the best pvp in history in such saying the focus of this game was pve and the pve being "huge" isn't true and isn't actually known. Based on the beta and the leaks the pve is actually not "huge" at all so it's a concern.

Go check destiny tracker, yes I am 100% sure. Most of the hardcore Bungie fans and gamers (including myself) switched to the PS4. It's the best place to play Destiny, and they were more dedicated to GAMES. I'll only get a One if Halo 5 is unbelievably good, and even then I still might not get one. Halo was all Microsoft had going for it, but that franchise is growing very old and tired.

I can see why. -blam!-ing activision thinks it's cool to give exclusive content such as more maps and more missions and more shit to ps players. bungie needs to stop their stupid contract with activision cause this is way unfair. im not gonna waste 500 dollars just to play the one and only game that is actually good on that console when I can just play it on my xbox and I already preordered the ghost edition so. ther's going back my friend.

Just trade it in for a PS4. I've always been slightly favored toward Xbox because of Halo, but the last 5 years of the 360 were god awful for games. I picked up a PS3 and holy shit did they deliver in the games department. Especially when you consider the shadow of the colossus and kingdom hearts remastered games. Now that Halo has wore off for me, I really don't have a reason to go Xbox anymore. The majority of my friends have already gotten a PS4, and we have 0 complaints. The 2 free games a month is amazing, and the party chat works in the exact same way. It's a console that plays games first, and doesn't mess with a bunch of entertainment junk you don't need on a gaming console. If you just want to use your console to primarily game and watch netflix or Amazon prime, etc. Then to me the PS4 can't be beat hardware wise this generation.

you wanna know why I cant do that cause I already pre ordered borderlands the pre-sequel and that game is awesome. I have played all of them I have the best gear in all of them and im a badass and the game is funny and use the word badass to classify how dangerous an enemy is like ultimate badass and stuff like that and it's not coming out ont xbox one nor the ps4 and I aint buying no ps3

Console fanboy days are dying! I'm seeing more (like myself) that played 360, and PS1-4. There's very little difference except the exclusives. They both have great exclusives! I play Halo, Gears, Fable on xbox. I couldn't imagine missing out on games like inFamous, God of War, Uncharted, etc because I thought xbox was better than PS! Or, vice versa! That's like swearing allegiance to NBC, and never watching another channel. Yes, you can be entertained on one, but try the others because there are 100's of good shows on other channels. Sony and Microsoft could give two blams about you as long as they get your $! Join the 21st Century & become a Game fan! You will find yourself a lot happier!

Some people get really frustrated with PvP, getting shot in the back of the head every ten seconds can get annoying, not that i dislike that, but i can see why they are frustrated. Plus a lot of people are addicted to the game now and are acting like crackheads jonesing for more info on PvE, they may sound rude but they dont really mean it, they're just really eager to play the game. Both game types are good for different situations, grind PvE when you wanna relax and go adventuring, and step into PvP when you feel like raging against other players with your hard earned gear.
