Meh, unless you plan on doing any drastic changes to the balancing and overall mechanics of the PvP, I won't be playing. It's extremely unbalanced, boring, and repetitive.

Excellent post

I agree. The focus of Destiny should be 95% on PVE. All we ever see is pvp. Kinda sucks. PVP is no that big a deal.
-
Explain how it is unbalanced
-
Having an insta-kill button is not balanced. Bringing in your own weapons that you randomly find in the PvE is not balanced. Having weapon perks and abilities that other players can't tell if you have is unbalanced.
-
Well let's see. In regular pvp, not including Iron Banner, everyone in the match has their attack and defense averaged. The gear/gun perks are minor differences. And if you say you enjoyed Halo multiplayer, then why not play it in Destiny? Yeah they added super abilities to the game but if pvp didn't have this or was free of the small differences people would complain even more about Destiny not being, "new, different, or more customizable," than all the other Fps games out there.
-
Each class has its own type of insta kill... if they each have it doesn't that make it at least somewhat balanced? You can get weapons through PvE or PvP and use them... seems fair, do what you want. If you don't want to PvE then get all your gear through PvP. These complaints you have are from the RPG world and work. I remember what WoW PvP used to be when the arena first came out... That was awesome! I have a feeling this will be just as fun... most of the time...

Everyone has an insta kill button. And weapons are out of the question. They are available to Everyone so it's not unbalanced. In the end, the player with more skill wins.
Having an insta-kill button is not balanced. Bringing in your own weapons that you randomly find in the PvE is not balanced. So get over it you have an insta kill power as well.
-
Don't waste your breathe dude. Some people are never satisfied. Better for less butthurt people to play PvP than a ton of people whining the whole time.
-
It's not about everyone getting the insta-kill. It's the fact that I can get the drop on someone, have more skill than them, and outplay them in every way imaginable and all they do is mash the bumpers and they kill me.

Edited by What Up C: 8/12/2014 6:59:59 PMIt's not even worth it anymore.
It's not about everyone getting the insta-kill. You clearly everybody a valid reason as to why the game is unbalance, i mean c'mon buddy. All you managed to do was make yourself sound silly. Talking about oh "how the insta kill is B.S. Takes no skill and all they do is mash bumpers" are you even listening to your own idiotic reasoning? I think not. You are plain down right retarded.
-
I can barely read what you type. You need to go back to grade school ma'am. Pressing the left bumper + right bumper to throw a giant purple bomb that insta-kills everybody in sight is unbalanced.
-
I agree but it is fun
-
The game -blam!-ing revolves around characters with super power abilities. How does one feature make this game unbalance when the game revolves around it? For -blam!- sakes, all I hear is complaints as to how garbage you are! If your having such a hard time getting kills then use your god given brain and put yourself in the best position to get every possible kill. Don't be a moron seriously. Your starting to piss me off with your stupidity! You don't even mash the bumpers, you only have to press them once in order for you to unleash the super ability. How does that make someone a button masher like c'mon!
-
Doesn't matter if the game revolves around supers. They can be balanced in the multiplayer but unfortunately they're not.
-
You don't even provide a valid reason as to why tho?
-
Because it takes no skill. Go up to someone, mash the bumpers, and regardless of how better they are than you, they can't avoid it.
-
You've never killed someone before they unleashed their super?
-
Literally I think I did it one time.
-
Just curious
-
Because it takes no skill. Go up to someone, mash the bumpers, and regardless of how better they are than you, they can't avoid it.
Actually you can avoid it it's called skilled patients in seeing it coming it's just hard to avoid an enclosed areas
-
You can do the same thing tho... And if your timing is better you can pull off a triple kill, quadruple kill or even more. So really it's not that different since you obtain that same power.
-
Not necessarily true.. Hunters GG takes time to pull out, Titan's special is limited on the range, and the Warlock's also takes time, plus an accurate throw. If that's the only fault you have against the Crucible, you need to get over it man.
-
if you would have actually read then you would know that the unbalanced weapons and skills are also a problem.
