Mass Effect 1 has my favorite story of the 3, but the gameplay is awful.
Mass Effect 2 is overall just decent.
Mass Effect 3 has the best gameplay and a good story, up until the end, which doesn't ruin the whole thing for me.
ME3 wins. for me.

Same. The ending is bad but for me that doesn't negate the fact that the rest was pretty -blam!-ing good.
