My previous video, Pro Tips #1, received nearly 2,000 views over a 48-hour time-span. Thank each of you who supported that content. I hope to mirror the same success with this second installment of the Pro Tips series. This video series is intended for all skill levels--from newcomers to FPS games to seasoned veterans.
My K/D in the beta was around 2.68 with an average of 24 kills per game. I'm not the best player out there, but I strive to be the best that I can be.
If you have tips for Destiny's PVP, please share them below. Let's give the Bungie.net forum community an edge in September.
Thank you.

The biggest key to success I found is to let the enemy have control point A on both Venus and Mars. You want to focus on controlling B and C. For example, on Venus going from A to C is like waltzing into a shooting gallery, and going from A to B exposes you as you leap over the gap. B and C spawns are far more preferable with better vantage points, the height advantage, and the ability to move between the control points when teammates need support. I know that's kind of obvious when you just think about the layout of the map for a second, but I had so many random teammates getting greedy and rushing after A when we were in good shape at B and C. Then when we lose control of one of our points we would start spawning at A again and struggle to retake control of the map. So don't be that guy. Not all control points are created equal.

Tip: Begin your shots from the hip and transition to your sights if the target is at distance. Try reacting faster than your opponent so you land more of your shots earlier. Aim at the torso/head, keep your right analog stick centered, and strafe left and right while shooting. I'm sure he covered some of those tips but thought I'd mention the tips that had the quickest impact on my Gameplay.

"Pro" tips? "Basic tips for those who have never played an FPS before" seems more appropriate.

Haven't posted on the forums in a long time. Good reads (Browsed through several comments).

Common sense tips IMO only one that I can see that should be even mentioned is the slide, other than that everything else.should.come natural unless this is your very first fps

Edited by Desticle: 8/7/2014 9:34:54 PMWhat the hell gun is that? Thing has a ridiculous fire rate and no recoil. And nice video. You seem like you would be a good person to raid with. Let me know if your looking to get a Raid team started or looking for more good players.

Yo, i see you made Pro Tips #2, one thing what i'd like you to add in Pro tips 3# is have Kill strategies for example once you've controlled a zone and got a Zone defensive kill, the Enemies normal Spawn at a place where there are the least amount of My team players around there. Hence anticipating where they are, and the speed of how fast they're capturing, and if it's fast...You're Out Numbered Also Plus Classes are essential to play styles, if you feel like you're quite bad at playing hunter, but you're amazing at Other games such as Halo. Then always give other classes a try, for this instance warlock, they're Melee Combo is Shotgun + Melee. The Melee for Warlock is outstanding they're Killing distance is the best, excluding the throwing knife, but Warlock can constantly do the Melee at a good range. Plus Having a Shotgun always help finishing them off. It could be used in any flow possible. And I noticed that guy you killed at 1:14, used that super charge at a rushing Pace, kinda shows that class isn't for him, as he would've easily killed or wounded using the other 2 classes. But also knowing the class the user is using the most, is clearly essential as the more you play with it, the more you notice strengths and weaknesses, and what you can combine it with. Surviving isn't always the Key, as you can always sacrifice you're self in a "Out numbered situation" and throw a grenade to get a triple or quadra kill. Thus Zone defensive points+ The Key in the end is Winning, But there's 2 ways Either by Winning by Yourself Or Being a Play maker and dedicate your self to a specific zone, or just capture zones and avoid coming in contact. So in the end i'd like to say this, There's the Pro Player There's the Play maker, 5 good Players usually beat 2-1 Great Players. So Its Chemistry over Individual Skill in the End. But if you score the highest, in the losing team.... At least you get the "Well in the Bright side" Achievement :)
