In PvP they suck. I laughed at people who used them because they were so easy to take out. I tried using one, I could do alright but the reload was to long to stay competitive, so they either need more rounds, or more power.

Just like everything in the game if you are not happy with a gun grind the hell out of a level till you find a gun that works for you or find armor for faster handcannon reload speed I have one and I do not even use hand cannons

I maxed out 3 different level 8 hand cannons and had gauntlets that increased reload speed, but it still couldn't keep up in PvP. Maybe there's a strategy to using them, but I couldn't figure it out before I switched back to scout and auto rifles. But I loved them in PvP, headshots like crazy!

PVE yu mean PVP is actruly really difficult but Ill tell you a secret I figured out if you crouch when you know an enemy is near you, you practicly turn invisible on the map so the tactic is prob to out play your enemies

Oops, yeah I meant PvE. I'll have to try that tactic when it releases.

Yea no problem and If that does not work try melee first then shooting or grenade shoot combo and reload when your about half way through ammo to max your killing
