This is a decent idea, except for the fact that
1. you are assuming everyone is waching each other all the time
2. if some one is just doing gestures for the hell of it,
3. people just not knowing what is the universal body language, or not remebering it fully if they do.
All these commands should just be in a set text chat. Sort of like BF4s comma rose. With set phrases, that pop up on the screen.

The gestures are only 2 emotes long and all of them start with 'wave' so it'd be hard to forget that once you know it. True about it popping up the text when emoting. But yeah that is basically how the comma rose worked as well. But it would show up for everyone on your team no mater where you were. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=cTcEq7ejTGo#t=193 though in this video it doesnt have the name and text pop up(just like in the destiny Beta) I think that was a a later patch for BF4 on consoles. How I maybe see it. is have set commands (like in the video I linked) when you pull up the ghost, on top of "go to orbit" and "spawn sparrow."
