What was the coolest/funniest/silliest thing that happened to you in the Beta? I have two moments that come to mind. First, my silly highlight. I was casually strolling through Old Russia, picking off Fallen at my leisure, just having a good time in general. Then, all of a sudden, the sky grew dark. "Oh hey, a Public Event must be starting!" I thought. Then my screen started to flash white and shake! Next thing you know, I'm looking at my own dead body! I wondered to myself, "What in the world obliterated me so violently!?" I returned to the spot where I had been previously standing, and lo and behold, there was a WARSAT planted in the ground where my poor boots had the misfortune of standing. I had been squished by the WARSAT! And second, my awesome highlight. It was a tense match in the Crucible. We were battling for control on First Light. It was a close match, and both teams were neck and neck, fighting for the victory. My Hunter butt was planted firmly in hard point A as I watched a particularly threatening Titan traipse about outside my window. I stared at him, he stared at me, both of us daring the other to first step foot through the doorway. Finally, I relented. I charged through the doorway, Shingen-C blazing, bent on grinding that Titan helmet into the dust! But he was ready for me. He had already thrown a flash-bang as soon as I had left the safety of my glass dome. The grenade exploded in my face and my vision went blank. Knowing I had already scored a few hits on our burly friend, I threw my knife blindly out into the silent white world. That's when, to my surprise, I received two medals. Stick Around, and Nail in the Coffin! I had stuck my sharpened instrument of death right between that silly goose's eyes and won the game for my team, blind as I was. And to make it better, the enemy team wasn't three or four kills behind us! So, all of you Guardians out there, share your war stories! Make yourselves heard!
