I can only think of those people as the "MLGpro1337" crowd; the people who think if you don't have the time or "skill" to torture yourself, you don't deserve to have the same fun stuff they do. Honestly, the ones who talk about Raids and Bounties or whatever make no sense to me: what's the difference between lucking out at the Cryptarch and, say, looking up how to get Exotics on YouTube?
I love that Exotics can be obtained at the Cryptarch. Luck is just as important as practical skill in my eyes. And that's the point: people are whining about just the fact that you can get Exotics from the Cryptarch, and ignoring that you have to be really lucky to actually get one.

I think having the rare exotics drop in landscape is great. This coming from a former MMO grinder! Fact is, it's not going to unbalance the game that much. The majority of your success in Destiny is going to be you. I bet there are folks in the crucible who ran around with the first gun and killed everyone just for laughs. On their hand, I do respect that the "hard work" that goes into being a successful raider deserves it's own merits. But those folks are going to max their gear within a few weeks of the content going live. It's OK if the rest of us "peons" get some nice rare drops while we play. I won't be killing you in the crucible...you're probably a lot better than me =P
