I feel that the coolest exotics will be the ones we know are behind specific and difficult challenges that must be overcome by friends. Being mildly suprised when you yank the lever and an Exotic comes rolling out of the Cryptarch is a fun experience, but pales in comparison to what Exotics should be used to leverage. It's not hurting the game neccessarily, as long as there are a variety of ways to obtain Exotics the game will ultimately be fine, I just think we can do better than RNG...
