Because we had to deal with the Scorpion and Wraith, now those were tanks.
We have it easy.

Not forgetting the walking one-man army that is the Mantis.
-
You guys remember the chopper?
-
At least those two vehicles were soooooo slow and fired soooooo slow. A slower Interceptor will be just right.
-
Agreed, I thought vehicles were fine as they were.

Edited by Wraithyx: 8/5/2014 8:53:53 PMIn fact, if any halo player were to have enough power and capability to take out powerful, heavy vehicles they shouldn't really have a problem adjusting to a challenge against and interceptor. I've played Halo for years on end and I can admit that most people complain about the most petty things in matchmaking. To this day, I gave up a little on Halo because it's been overdone just a tad bit but now that Destiny is a thing, I really can't wait to hear what other excuses people come with in matches. XD

You can spawn with a shotgun or a sniper, YOU are the one whom is OP sir. Vehicles need to be worth getting into.
-
True, but decent Halo players aware maps with vehicles. I hope there will be option to set prior maps for your taste, like in SC2 for example.
-
We also had more ways to kill them, plus they were much slower.
-
True, but I despised BTB.
-
if you can 4 burst a "tank" its not OP lol, is basically a mobile heavy weapon....
-
Edited by Obi Wan Stevobi: 8/5/2014 9:35:07 PMThat was my opinion too. Interceptors were so weak compared to Halo vehicles. You can 3 shot the driver from either side, or from any elevated position. Everyone in the game will get a super at least once which can kill them. Rockets and snipers make quick work of them as well. I really couldn't see why people had a huge problem with them.
-
I single handedly, defended 2 control points (bravo and Charlie) using the interceptor for an entire game once. I destroyed the other team's interceptor every time they tried to take me down. Half way through the game they just stopped trying to take back the control points and all the players were swarming over alpha for the rest of the game. I am a master of vehicular murder with an interceptor apparently...
-
I have never played a Halo game in my life and I have no issues with the Interceptor.
-
I killed the driver of one by punching him and throwing a knife. Another by two punches, the third with a scout rifle These are not hard to take down, i would lollol if a kid shot my scorpion with a br.

It sort of reminded me of The Brute Vehicle in Halo 3. I forgot what it was called.
-
It is overpowered and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.
-
Didn't Bungie say First Light was the largest MP map as well? I've gotten the impression many maps won't include vehicles. I'm a Halo veteran and have always preferred the smaller maps that lacked vehicles, so the less vehicles the better. The vehicles in Destiny are much easier to deal with though. Still want Hijacking and Assassinations back though :) Any word on the Interceptor making it's way into strikes or story missions?
-
Yeah but you could hijack those.
-
I was annoyed by how easy it was to spam the trigger, and some really bad players were doing decent. I had fun sniping them though.
-
Interceptor was fine, but I still hated First Light.
-
Kids these days lol it doesn't even have a closed cockpit :)

Edited by Doug Ford, The Second: 8/5/2014 10:31:06 PMHere's why the interceptor is not comparable to the scorpion/wraith: -you can't board it -it has a high ROF -it has significantly more mobility
-
It's fine I use fusion rifle against it and it works pretty good it's explodes in like 4 shots
-
I don't mind an OP vehicle. I just stay away from it.
-
I wanna be able to hijack the interceptor though, but I can't D:
