This video series is intended for all skill levels--from newcomers to FPS games to seasoned veterans.
My K/D in the beta was around 2.68 with an average of 24 kills per game. I'm not the best player out there, but I strive to be the best that I can be.
If you have tips for Destiny's PVP, please share them below. Let's give the Bungie.net forum community an edge in September.
Thank you.

Yes a very lot of PvP players who played the Beta have complained about Netcode problems. Everyone needs to let Bungie employees know about this problem that all most every PvP player has complained about. Basicly we need to get the message accross to the right people.

Good video, and I agree wholeheartedly with all your tips. I recommend taking a look at the video I posted as well, and the following describes why. I quickly realized that Destiny was a very different PVP experience, and I sucked for the first several days of beta until I sat back and thought about the game. I changed my approach, and started dominating. Anyway, the video I posted pretty accurately describes all the things I realized about PVP that helped me improve drastically. Enjoy!

Edited by Quote: 8/5/2014 12:22:53 PMHere is one of my pro tips, when the enemies are capturing a point, look at how quickly the point is being captured, if its being captured slowly, you will know that there is about 1 to 2 enemies, meaning you can take them on, if it is being captured quickly, Dont engage as there are likely to be 3+ enemies, instead, prepare an ambush with the help of a good team mate, or you can rush them with your super

Ok for the new players. Player position in a match is key. Ill use the domination/hardpoint etc. Game type to explain as it will be easier. First are you a better defemsive player or offensive player? If you are defensive imagin this. Its the beginning of a match and your whole team runs to C (the closest cap. Zone) while the opposing team captures A. Most people will run to B. Of ypu are a defensive player find a good vantage point of C and wait for the players from A to flank and try to take C. If you are offensive either go to B with your teammates or flank to A depending on where your team is. If you get that down you have the map progression under your belt and now focus on the rest of your skill. If anyone would like to add or change something of my lesson post a response below im just stating the basics of map progression.

Ok Pro Tip # 1.01 There are other people on the map, you're gonna want to shoot them, use a gun or the like. You'll charge your super, you're gonna want to shoot that at the people on the map. You'll charge your grenade, you're gonna want to throw that at the people on the map. You'll charge your melee, you're gonna want to hit people on the map with that. More to come, we'll ease into this.

Nice grenade tips! I notice a lot of people throwing panic grenades (I myself am guilty of this at times). They're definitely much more useful when you throw them with an actual strategy in mind.

Great video, sir! It's been a loooooong while since I obsessed about my K/D (seriously, your reflexes go to pot after the age of 33), but hopefully your tips might get me from 0.6 to 0.65. :)
