I've noticed that there seems to be no real stealth in Destiny, be it sneaking up on enemies for an assassination like take down or some kind of ability for the hunter to use. Should there be a stealth in Destiny? (Thanks for the feedback so far,. as for the Hunter subclass I didn't know about them having an invisibility skill. I too have been able to run up on enemies from behind and quickly kill them but there has been many time when I've walked up on an enemy from behind only to have them turn around for no apparent reason. As for an assassination I don't mean that it should be just like Halo's where you go into a third person pov and see the kill, It be more like a quick motion such as instead of just a storm fist to the back it would be a storm fist to the back of the head, or instead of just stabbing them the Hunter could go for the neck when sneak is successful, that could act as a critical or something along those lines.)

  • Assassination moves and slow/no moving not showing on the motion tracker, sure. But I don't consider that stealth. But invisibility-like stealth? Maybe as a halo-style power up but NOT as a class ability. Take a look at WoW rogues for how badly that can go. Either it becomes too weak to and doesn't matter (at which point, why add it?), or it becomes extremely strong to the point of being near OP (if not OP). For those that haven't played WoW, the rogue class has stealth. They can't be seen unless you practically run through them while stealth is activated. The ability has come to define the class and they have easily become the most despised class by others. But it also means that they're pretty weak when caught outside of stealth...so they were given ways to help them get back into stealth. Regardless of if the class was OP or not, the ability came to define them and imo is horrible for PvP balance. As such I would NOT want to see such a thing happen in Destiny. And given how HP works in this game, going invis (even as an ability) just has too much potential for balance problems.
