Can somebody Help me with my PC Build? I am looking to pay around $720, give or take $30. I am new to this, so I would be very thankful if someone could point me in the right direction. I want to use my computer for Gaming, Video and Audio Editing, Schoolwork, and Internet Browsing. My build, so-far, is as follows:

After rebates the price comes out to be ~$700. 1) You honestly don't need an optical drive. If you can, rip one out of an old computer and use that, but again, you honestly don't need one. 2) What monitor do you currently have?

1) I can rip one from my old computer. 2) This is probably really bad, but my old monitor is a HP 2009m

Okay, then rip the optical drive from an old computer and use that. As for your monitor, it really isn't that bad. I mean, ya it's 1600x900, but it's still an HD resolution and not a bad one either. If you can afford it, get a 1080p monitor, although if you want a more powerful build, use your current monitor and put that saved money back in your pocket or towards your PC to make it more powerful.

Solid build, but I would suggest a bigger SSD. I know you have that 1tb for storage, but you'll be stretching it pretty thin with 60gb. I'd recommend at least 80. My 64gb is almost always full.

Thank you for the advice, but I think this is suitable for my storage purposes. What I need help with is making sure everything is compatible and that they are up-to-par. Does the rest of build meet the cut?
