As one of those who played the Alpha I remember the long wait until the beta. Be strong fellow Guardians. The wait is survivable.
However, you must focus on your plans for the game and not on the wait. This way you can stay hyped, plan for the future, and help pass the time.

I am sorry to here that as you are now going to such a horrible place where Destiny has a permanent level cap of 1. While the living get to play the full Destiny game. Finally if you live a good and happy life you will go to place where you can play Destiny at 8k instead of 1080P where you the entire universe is your playground and is fully mapped and truly massively multiplayer.
