I don't see many people saying there gonna be Sunsinger most of them say vortex walker but personally I think the Sunsinger class is gonna be so much better and I have a list why because I'm all fancy like but to lazy to be put in order
1. You can revive yourself and MAYBE your teammates with your super my friend and I saw in a video that so and so revived so and so but I don't know the video and don't know if it's leg it's so it's just a MAYBE but I think they will
2. The grenades are so awesome one turns into a mini sun when attached to someone!! and one shoots bolts of light at people!!
http://puu.sh/avSRT/2f6493d70d.jpg
3.We can get a second grenade!! And like I said a second ago the grenades are awesome so to have 2!!!
http://puu.sh/avSVp/30bdcb6e7b.jpg
4. Your super buffs you so much to where you can one shot someone with a Melee and is speculated to recharge all of the cool downs faster while radiance is active!
5. When you kill someone with your Melee you can make them explode!! Freaking explode!!
http://puu.sh/avT3H/ea493f2f63.jpg
6. Look at this description you can not tell me this doesn't sound bad ass!!

Now in these I just posted some of my personal favorites about this class but there's even more awesome stuff I can't wait to find out more about them and then eventually get to play as them!!
Everyone should watch dattodoesdestiny video breakdown about Sunsinger it helps a lot and goes over all the powers
From what I understand all the subclasses will be available once you hit level 20, and you can swap them out at any time exactly like a weapon, so it will be prudent for people to level up all of their subclasses, especially for Raids. I can see alot of Raids needing to swap abilities in the Raid, as say during a crowd control kind of fight with just a ton of smaller enemies (thralls, or dregs) fist of havoc would be more effective but during say a mini boss skirmish, the ward of dawn that gives the party energy shields would be more effective. The subclasses will be more like instantaneous loadouts that once you have them locked down their settings will be stuck and the powers of each thing will get a small boost. So if you are saying you will want to play as sunsinger and that's it, you're missing the point of the subclasses. You aren't stuck to any one subclass permanently. you will be able to switch it out on the fly as you may need the benefits of certain abilities. the Raiding parties are going to be 6 man squads, I recommend that everyone who plays should level up and max out all 3 characters you make before you do raids, because you may need to switch out characters depending on the raid, and I know that they have said Raids will require alot of faith in your friends and who you team up with. So variations in weapons, armor and classes, and subclasses will be really important. I'm betting that Raids will be better with 1 titan, 2 warlocks, and 3 hunters, or 2 of each and that's basing off of classic MMO formats, that usually you need less tanks than crits, and the Hunter has amazing abilities pertaining to criticals. have fun guys.
EVERYONE IF YOU HAVENT SEE DATTO'S VIDEO ABOUT MARS TRAILER, GUN NERFS AND SUNSINGER WATCH IT!!! There's a scene where a warlock activates radiance and used his melee to ONE SHOT A PIKE!! It blows up the pike and person on it

Edited by C0mb0 king: 8/3/2014 8:09:49 PMPlays too much of a supportive role for my play style, i like to be in the grit of the battle, sure the sunsinger can get up close, but most teams will rely on them for healing and reviving, meaning they are recommended to stay at the back and play a supportive role. But ill feel fully comfortable playing as my blade dancer knowing ill have a sunsinger having my back.

I was initially planning on being the Warlock support class when I started reading about Destiny, but with the thing about one-hit melee kills and being able to revive yourself, I see huge potential even with all the nukes Vortex Walker offers. A good portion of my kills in PvP are melee kills, even with the 2-hits required, but being able to revive yourself is vital. You get swarmed by two or three guys on a flag, kill one and die. Just revive catching them off guard and finish them up.

I love being medics, sun singer all the way!
-
Plus I am a lone wolf so I cannot be a support class. P.S. Sunsinger and Defender are both support
-
I'm going full VW warlock.
-
I'm at least going to try Sunsinger out. Because the night is dark and full of terrors.
-
That sexy ass sunbreaker Gauntlet heavily compliments the sunsinger skill tree so for that reason alone I guess I will be using or at least trying this subclass.
-
Looks like the sort of class for people that want to just sit back in the back healing people, being carried through by half decent team mates.
-
Yes, you are the only one.

Edited by SaferMurderweapon: 8/3/2014 3:46:27 AMRadiance used to revive teammates but that was changed before the game was even in alpha. There is early footage of it being used. The Sunsinger is a good class and outperforms the VW in single-target DPS but VWs AoE abilities are the most powerful in the game and are essentially game changers if used correctly. Though VW is great for crowd control, SS's Song of Flame will be invaluable in raids. I'd advise picking it over fireborn unless you're soloing. Reference: Fireborn: "Radiance can be used from beyond the grave. Doing so returns you to life." Song of Flame: "While active, Radiance reduces all cooldowns for nearby allies." Crowd control: Handling large groups of enemies. Because of enemy AI behavior in Destiny, all durational AoEs deter enemies and can function as a form of crowd control.

I will be a sunsinger, I read the abilities and I thought they were pretty badass especially when you could use your super while in death
-
The problem with picking sunsinger is that we don't truly understand it that well as of now. Its radiance ability has not really been shown or explained in depth, so its hard to grasp the subclass as a whole Perhaps you would like to assist in furthering our understanding of it? Any and all assistance is welcome.

If I made a warlock... This would be the class I would choose probably... But as it stands warlock is my 3rd choice class...
-
I'm definitely planning on picking up the Sunsinger subclass as soon as I can.
-
I simply can't walk away from the ability to raise myself from the dead. It just goes with my RP vibe so well.
-
I like playing support when playing with my team in Destiny. So Sunsinger is the way to go!
-
No thanks ill stick to void Waller.

Edited by ENDO!: 8/2/2014 3:29:12 PMThe sun motherf***er, do you praise it?
-
Nah, I sing to the Sun all the time
-
I like the name, but I'm a Hunter! Probably gonna be Bladedancer, still wanna see that third subclass!
-
I am gonna be Voidwalker because Sunsinger is a support class.
-
+1 I want to try it soooo bad
-
I am gonna use it your not alone
