Can I play Destiny now? Young Intern: "What's Destiny? And.....no it's December 3rd" nyLocke: "Destiny is this cool new video game from Bungie....wait....did you say December 3rd?" nyLocke: "Never heard of the game or Bungie" <Doctor looks over his shoulder> Old Doctor: "Was before your time, they made some of the best games of my youth." <blank stares from nyLocke and Intern> Old Doctor: "I remember Destiny, and Bungie. They don't make'em like that anymore. It was one of the saddest days of my life when they turned off the Destiny servers." <look of horror spreads on nyLocke's face> Intern: "How long ago was that doc? I've never heard of any of this." Old Doctor: "They turned the Destiny 6 servers off about 15 years ago. They hadn't updated the game for about 10 years and Bungie wanted to make space for the next series." <nyLocke's eyes bulge as he takes that statement in> Intern: "What was it they were making? And why haven't I heard of it?" Old Doctor: "No one knows, the building burned in the riots that followed the server shutdown. There have been rumors that they made it out, no bodies where found in the ashes, and that they still plot world domination somewhere, but nobody has heard anything since then." Intern: "Wait, are you talking about the Great Burn in Seattle? That was over a video game? Half the town burned......" <nyLocke has a seizure at the realization of how badly he overshot his target, alarms sound from the monitors> Intern: "Oh -blam- he's coding doc" Doctor: "Get the crash kit NOW!" </Scene> Friends don't let friends play with cryonics.

Well. That would all make sense if I hadn't also purchased the 'Accidental Overshot Warranty' for an extra $7.95. In the event that I remain cryogenically frozen for longer than I expect, I can just call the toll free number and have someone send me to the appropriate year in time, for almost no hassle. lmao
