I think that it got a bit easy to blow through rooms of dudes in PvE once you hit level 8 and got yourself some gear you're good with (like a semi-auto rifle or a particularly sexy belt-fed heavy machine gun). Part of the reason for it was that the world is almost like a hub where the enemies are meant to be either beaten for levelling purposes or ignored because they are not worth your time and you have shit to do. As for the PvP, it's not bad to have it. It adds a competitive component to the game and it seems like training. The better you are against adaptive, thinking human beings, the better you will be against the AI. That, and it is a status thing. Grinding a Fallen Captain into the dust is only fun so many times. But throwing your nemesis across the map with a rocket will never get old. However, the PvE will be the focus, as it ought to be, because it is a large world that people are meant to explore. Hell, it's a damned solar system that we are taking back. If that becomes secondary to teabagging dudes on the moon, I think we should fear for the future of gaming.
