Destiny withdrawal support group
For anyone who is already suffering from destiny withdrawal. This is an open group and we support all people with their varrying levels of addiction.
Edit #1 due to the taken king expansion, the form post has been re opened to help all new players and veteran deal with their addictions

4 RepliesUm.... I don't....know if I'm in the right place... Uh wow okay so... Hi I'm ace.... I ...-sigh- am addicted to destiny. Have been since it was announced years ago. I followed it all the way to today and when... Uh... I "tried" the beta I was hooked. I loved it the moment my ghost brought me back from the dead all the way to the close of the servers. But.... When it was gone... Is gone.... I'm lost I don't know what to do for a month @-@ please what do I do?!

I keep hoping they realize they ought to playtest the lvl15 subclasses too and reopen the beta for this purpose. Just for a couple of hours... An hour... 5 minutes.... I need my fix!

My name is Odafin...And I am a Beta addict in recovery. At first it was just one or two Crucible Matches the first day, maybe a little exploration...but before the end of the Beta, I'd net'd almost 115+ hours of PvP, Vanguard Mission, Public Eventing, Devil's Lair action... I found myself not eating, being able to see around corners from down the hall...I wouldn't sleep... Legend would call to me, seeking for me to 'Become it".... I need the purple weapons, my Cryptarc! Fallen Dregs and Thralls rushing me in my thoughts! I see my boss as an Archon! What do I do?!

If there's one positive light here, it's that the freaking BETA of Destiny was so good and so unforgettable for me that it over-shadows ALL video games available at this time. Gaming withdraws hasn't been a battle for me in many years so I am excited to be so amped about even earning a stupid capr that has no impact on my character's overall performance.

2 RepliesToday I turned on my PS4 and I began to weep. Gaming is nothing but a joke to me now. How am I to bypass the 1+ month without Destiny with the likes of Madden, UFC, Watch Dogs, and Battlefield!? I don't know if I can make it through guys...

1 Reply1 Day 14 hr 44 mins. I left the fields at 8:45 pm est on that Sunday. I feel both sad & lucky. A friend of mine attempted to jump on after 9 and suffered from the red box of shame. I haven't even turned on my PS4 since then, I decided to pick up some overtime since I remember the feelings of Destiny shutting down after Alpha. Those were rough days in its own as well. I can tell you all it will be ok, You can overcome these feelings or lack of rather. The only thing that helped me last time was picking up loads of OT at work, & playing multiplayer on KillZone & the new co-op they've added. It wasn't a replacement, nothing can fill that hole that has now opened. I do liken it to transferring from one drug to another however, that intermediate to keep you high until you can afford the good stuff lol. Stand strong brothers & sisters, till we meet on the fields again.

Played the BETA, couldnt put the game down. And this is coming from a guy who generally hates point and click first person competitive shooters. On top a that I dont play online all that much. Even if it was capped to 8 levels, best friggen 8 levels of my life. Now the wait till September 9th has become much harder to endure.

I literally dreamt that the game finally came out, i started playing, and suddenly i became the guardian... I woke up to know that i to became Destaholic.. 2 RepliesHello, I m Azrael..its been two days left Destiny...tried to play Reach only to get my ass kicked because I mentally missplaced every single buttons in the remote. I wanted to trow a grenade and ended up using armour lock. ARMOUR LOCK! Tried Sniper Elite 3 and I swear I heard Germans and Italians making fun of me because I was trying hard to use the Havoc routine on them... Tried Bejewled and I kept looking for Glimmers... My life has ended... Thank God there is a major respawn in September...

I can't even play any other games right now. I need destiny. Destiny was there for me when we didn't have food, or whenever my parents yelled at me. Destiny is my game, the only game I ever want to play for the next 10 years. I won't care about anything else except becoming a legend on destiny. I NEED IT!!!

1 ReplyI used to be a Level 8 titan, aqired full uncomon gear, aquired some rare items, waited since last christmas for the beta, but then, bungie gave us a week of heaven, but, now its gone, i dont know what to do, I was a Complete badass is the cosmodrone, i became feared by the fallen, i became respected in my fireteams, but, its gone, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!
