Destiny withdrawal support group
For anyone who is already suffering from destiny withdrawal. This is an open group and we support all people with their varrying levels of addiction.
Edit #1 due to the taken king expansion, the form post has been re opened to help all new players and veteran deal with their addictions

I just played Borderlands 2, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, and now on to TitanFall...... another poor substitute....which is epic in its own right........I will break out the modded Skyrim soon, reboot the Minecraft Server, start another never ending Civ 5 Multiplayer, play some Dota 2, and then play SC2:HotS Arcade and some Star Citizen DFM............And then tomorrow I will play Halo 3 and weep for what has been lost, and the poor spectres of its greatness we are left with until September....In time Diablo 3 will just remind me anew of all that is too come and like an old WoW item grind August will drag on, and on, and on...sorta like this post did : P

I went outside and tried to double jump on the roof but I could only get 12" off the ground. My abilities are lost. My legendary ship is gone. Oh the pain. I'm going into hyper sleep till 9/9. We arrived into the cosmodrone, my fellow fireteam and I, in our matching ships ready for whatever ventures would await us. I scoured the land and found hidden chests most guardians wouldnt dare tot hink of going. we rushed through waves of lvl 20 creatures that had exceded our lvl of str but it didnt stop us, nor did it slow us down. for we were hunters, explorers, i dare say the best looters in old russia. one place in particular we located and claimed as our own giving it the name glimmer gourge. When we werent exerting our looting skills we took trips to the moon and venus to aid other guardians in detroying corrupted guardians that have turned to the side of the fallen hoping for power. our high k d ratios had surely put them to rest. it has been approximately 2 hours now and if you are reading this the imacculant guardians known as duzmire and killa chronix had died to the one thing they werent ready for at level 8... the bungie troll beta.

It does feel empty inside of me now that beta ended, I was already a no lifer and after that sweet taste on the beta how can i survive 6 weeks for the full game.. Friendless and poor so any suggestion is more then welcome lol

I have to turn to Titanfall for comfort. Maybe Frontier's Edge will help me get past this dark time. But I will play it like I play Destiny... With a sniper and a handca - I mean sidearm... With double jump. Maybe the occasional semi-auto rifle and three round burst to remember the Scout Rifle and Pulse Rifle respectively.

My names creature, and I'm a betaholic. I'm only into my first day of sobriety and I'm noticing some strange behavior in myself. I'm dancing with strange ppl at the gun shop and post office. Just a minute ago I stopped in the street and started pointing at random stuff. I'm hanging a towel with a dog pic on it from my waste and calling myself iron banner man. I have problems! They say time heals all. I'll let them know if they r right on the 9/9!

The sky got dark, and I prepared to sprint off in search of the nearest waypoint as soon as a robotic Peter Dinklage told me there was a public event to take part in. I felt a raindrop. Then another. The only public event to be found was fleeing the rain, and there was no reward.

I... think I have a problem........ Every time it gets quiet around me, I start hearing the music from Destiny. It has gotten so bad I've had to check my Xbox to make sure it was off... It was. When I close my eyes, the wasteland of old Russia is before my eyes; Fallen dregs shooting at me from behind crates, Hive Wizards floating in the darkness casting their dark magic at me, and my fireteam speeding by on their Sparrows fills my vision. As I lay down to sleep, I feel as though I were still running about, scoring headshots with my hand cannon, double-jumping, and firing my Golden Gun. I am afraid I will start dreaming it, and never wake up (at least until September 9th).......... ...... ..... ... .. . actually, on second thought, I'm going to go to bed right now. Where did I put those sleeping pills...?
