i played it it was the shortest mission ever and i got nothing for it

It was only short if you stuck only to the mission you could have entered Hellmouth went searching for the golden chest or just kill the fallen that were there so it's only what you made it to be.

You shouldn't have gone straight to the mission. I spent a good hour exploring everything I could.

It was the shortest mission ever but, it was very very fun to explore with friends, I explored and found some cool areas, and did so for about 90 minutes, and there was still stuff that we didn't even see yet, so I think it was a very good option for bungie to choose.
