[quote]Bungie has given the gaming industry what appears to be a very more than just average game. I'm greatful for the opportunity to test it, despite the Bungie account system failing to send me my beta keys./quote] Actually from all the first person shooters I have played in my life, it is below average and huge disappointment from all the hype. I suspect by the time Far Cry 4, COD Adavance Warfare and Dragon Age: Inquisition come out in November, this game will have lot of empty servers. People will be so tired of doing the same thing in the modes over and over. How many times can you play six Strikes that never change without getting bored of it? Raising the level o fmission doesn't cut. I played Devil's Lair at level 6 and level 8. No real difference to my level 8 character. Felt the same each time and I played it about eight times. I'm tired of killing the tank and the eye ball. PvE gameplay is below average for a shooter in this day and age and extremely boring and repetitive.

  • Still this was only a beta.. They got time to adjust and fix alot of things before september with the crew Bungie has, We can't compare we can't overhype we have to take Destiny as it is and for one i love the game and i've also been a gamer since 1996 but for now bungie is bringing out a game that we can truly enjoy, And obviousley it wont have at launch all the intended stuff and goodies..

Your thoughts are well defined and even well explained. I can very much respect your point of view on these things and how what you stated can be underwhelming. I'm not disagreeing with you, just looking at it from a different perspective. To me, it's a beta, a very small portion of the game meant to give a glance at what it's all about. Here's why. If the beta contained the missions, the guns, the upgrades, the options, and everything the game has when it launches we would be getting a ton of things we couldn't use in the beta, possibly to the point we wouldn't be getting or seeing anything we COULD "do" or "use". So the features removed or absent say more to me than what I am seeing. Areas blocked off, enemy types too tough to beat or even engage. From what you've said I know you have experience with "balance" within a game. IMO the beta itself needed a balance so as to only allow the most of what could be used without flooding it with what couldn't be. I can respect your opinion. You've voiced some good forethought. And it comes down to preference to the individual. Too bad though if you don't get it. You strike me as the type of gamer that would've been good to team up with during the parts where an experienced partner would have been extremely helpful at the moment a Warlock or Titan or Hunter needed to unleash hell while all other guardians were down and needed that one player to make a crater and save the day. To each their own my friend. Appreciate the insight and thoughts. Ty for being respectful. ;o)
