Size of the game (with source)
All right guys, I have been waiting to post this, but last night DeeJ confirmed, that there will be 1 explorable location per planet and this basically also confirmed, that the following source is realible:

[u][b]I browsed this website a lot and realized how endgame content is going to work. To sum it up:[/b][/u]
[b]Before you read on: this may or may not be how the final product is going to look like. It is just a speculation based on the website mentioned above. I do not want to convince you about anything, but I'm sure if you browse that site you will come to a similar conclusion.
Beware, this may contain spoilers!!! [/b]
- 4 explorable locations (Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus)
- 6 strikes (1 Earth, 1 Moon, 2 Mars, 2 Venus. However one of the Mars strike is PS exclusive.)
- 1 raid (The Vault of Glass)
- 16 pvp maps
It's already been told, that we are going to hit lvl 20 quickly. So what happens after this?
We are going to have the possibility to run a random strike (accessible from the orbit) on a higher level:
-lvl18
-lvl20
-lvl22
-lvl24
For example the Devil's Lair is going to be there on those difficulties.
But how can you achieve a level over 20? It is well documented, that you can get to lvl 20 by collecting XP. In order to gain additional levels, you need to obtain gear with [b]"light stat" [/b] . Light gives you additional level.
So, what you are going to do, when you hit 20? You will go to lvl 20 strikes to get gear with light. I suspect, that the strikes and rewards will be scaled, so that you have to spend a lot of time on a level in order to get access to the next one.
What happens, when you hit lvl 24 and finished farming all the high level strikes? [b]You go to weekly strikes[/b]
This means, that every week there is going to be a strike on an even higher level.

-lvl28
For example Devil's Lair is going to be this strike from 09.sept. - 16.sept. And so on. This mode is called: [b]Nightfall[/b]
After you cleared all the weekly strikes you go to the Vault of Glass. It will be on lvl27, lvl31 and lvl31.

I also found something called "Activity Power" associated to every activity on that website. I think it's the true scale of difficulty of each activity. For example:
lvl 8 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 0,37
lvl 20 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 8
lvl 24 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 53
lvl 28 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 98
lvl 31 - Vault of Glass = Activity Power 132
This will take time Guardians!

7 RepliesThe AI in the Explore mode is just......plain. They get killed by the player then respawn to the exact same positions 30 seconds later. They need to have big Patrols of 10 - 15 Enemies (maybe with Pikes) and a high level leader and they would patrol around a base or area for a few minutes. These patrols would change with the night and day cycle and would be spread out so the world is not too crowded. This is mainly for the Fallen and Cabal, the Hive will just swarm in dark buildings and I have no idea about the Vex.

What is up with these know it alls these days, you take,one piece of known fact and "figure out" the rest and assume that you are always correct. Next time, before posting a forum full of unsure info and sending a bunch of ppl crying to their mommy about the game size, READ.

Stop spreading fake rumours and posting data mined information. Absolutely nothing is confirmed in regards to the size, and you should not claim you have a source to such information. For those who truly doubt the size, just wait until the game launches.

Once again no one assume anyway because what's the golden rule when you assume? On another note there was a old chicago mentioned and one other area on earth and as for the raids all that has been "revealed" is vault of glass.

Anyone who takes this whole thing seriously should be ashamed of themselves. Did you even watch the video?! The whole conversation about planets and zones was totally sketchy. Nothing concrete can be taken from it!

He confirmed each planet is a destination not a location and never said anything about there being 1 location per destination which there are multiple destinations on each planet. This is confirmed by there being 2 known locations on Earth with a possible third they are Old Russia, Eastern Flood Lands and there was something talked about like a year ago called Old Chicago.

If you look at the map there are spots for 3 more planets so that's be 5 locations, so this info is already off.

3 RepliesThe source is very believable. Betas still have information about full game content. Titanfall comes to mind. People extracted all the information from the beta about the fnal content and everything was true.

Bungie said there might be more locations on each planet . Also Saturn and Jupiter will be visitable .

Except that the Destiny Reddit says at the bottom " This is for the Beta and shouldn't be used as a basis of activity for the full game."
