I would cancel my pre-order in a heartbeat if I hadn't gone through the PSN Store; however, it has nothing to do with CoD and everything to do with the blah impression after playing a few dozen hours trying to find something that might keep me interested. I couldn't find that spark, so I purged it from my HDD a few days ago and already turned off the automatic download.
There's a chance that I might fire it up some day, but who knows. Plenty of other games and in the end who really cares, Bungie and PS already have my money.

I think that is insanely stupid. If you payed for it already and there is no possible way to get your money back, then why would you not at least TRY the final game?!? This is only a beta. Im not defending the game either as its nothing overly special compared to things from days gone past, but then again, I never hyped it like everyone else did - Bungies hype went in one ear and out the other as simply marketing talk to rack up the pre-orders. Im telling you this for your own sake as that just blows my mind that you would spend all that money, and not even give it a chance. People like me dont have money like that to spend unless we are absolutely sure. If your that loose with your cash then you had better be careful in the future or you will lose it all. Please dont take any of this as an insult, but Im just trying to talk some sense into you.

No insult taken. Just a harsh lesson in "all sales are final". Number of pre-orders is more important ... so they lose all future pre-orders from this customer. I will go elsewhere.

Like I said, you should at least try it so it wasnt a complete waste of cash. Its only a beta and was never meant to be a very large portion of the full game. I understand the disappointment - then again I dont because I never was expecting very much. This is what happens when a game gets way over hyped. I refused to believe the hype and went into the beta a cynic, but was pleasantly surprised by what this game does have. What other games are you looking forward to this year?
