Right now the PvP feels largely garbage because there are so many one-hit-kill attacks in the game.
It's very heavy on run, light on the gun, and one-hit-kill Super attacks have no place in competitive PvP.
The PvP just isn't very "fun" right now and doesn't feel very fair. It feels cheap and dirty, and worse than Call of Duty (which is no high water mark itself).

Haven't played pvp but from what I've seen peeps drop way too easy, maybe they just need to boost your health a bit to fix it up. <(º¬º)>

I'm shocked so many people didn't like the PvP. I really enjoyed it.

I agree the pvp is garbage and to be honest I get a better challenge in pve than in pvp. LOL THE PVP is for the kids, and the pve is for the adults.. Nuff said..

Once everyone hits that level cap with all 3 player types the crucible is what's going to keep this game playable. 10 years right? No way thats happening without matchmaking.

Eh. If nothing else, it felt like you were made out of tissue paper in the PvP. Maybe guardians deal more damage, but that seems a bit weak. It seems like it's in the middle between CoD and Halo, with some shields, but nothing really to write home about. But I wouldn't go as far as to call it "garbage." And I do agree with you, the PvE is meant to be the contemplative bits that has story and thought put into it. Stuff that opinon writers on GameInformer fail to grasp. You have me there; I honestly wouldn't be getting the game if it were just the PvP or too heavy on that level.
