Anything that's in the first person perspective is compared to COD because that's all these putird "gamers" have played to draw comparisons from.

You're right. A huge group (demographic) exists based solely in that game, and if it's all they know then there's only one thing they compare everything to. Good point. ;o)

Personally if I would say there is a comparison to any games it would be a mix of borderlands and halo. I loved borderlands even though there wasn't that much to do. and halo is halo :) I think this game is nothing like COD other then the fact that there are guns and running involved. id rather not even compare just because Destiny is in its own league.

Borderlands from Gearbox had great writers. Somewhere though they got cheap on the DLCs for 1 and 2. Knoxx Armory was great. TTAODK was outstanding. The reviewers got it right though when they said Gearbox lacked clarity in the majority of DLCs, and Randy Pitchford took advantage of separating what should have been content within the seasonal pass for 2. But yea I get it. ;o)

Pitchford milked Borderlands so very hard. Even to the point of releasing little mini DLCs of DLCs. Made me lose a lot of respect for Gearbox.
