I think they are giving us the exclusive player card for playing the beta tomorrow as the thing we get to carry over. I am satisfied with that. I don't really care if we keep our stuff or not, I have some nice things, but I'm sure Ill gets some better stuff. There are a lot more strike missions, planets, and things to buy in the full version so I'm sure starting over will be just fine.

Agreed. Ultimately, if you don't have a bunch of Lv20 items, the rest will just be a convenience you pass through. I have a full set of lv9 greens with ideal stats/effects and a full set of Lv10 blues (including a full set of weapons). I expect to spend no more than two days using that gear before it becomes under par for the content level. Granted, I have been grinding glimmer and decryption rep like a crazy, so that along with the Iron Banner stuff leaves me with 9 legendary items. However, the items wouldn't be a huge loss to me if I had to start over. What I don't want to lose or have to earn again are the grimoire points. I spent a lot of time trolling around to find dead ghosts and would prefer not to have to do that again, but it's not the end of the world.
