This was probably because the rate of progression was accelerated for the beta. If so, its just another reason to wipe the progress for full game.

Maybe it's just me but I think it will take longer to level in the full version. Especially if the cap is only 20.

took me 3 and a half hours to get to 8 double that and its still a reasonable time to get to a decent lvl, wont be that hard.

So you'd be happy capping your character in approximately 8 hours? I sure as hell wouldn't. I feel like it should at least take double that. I would like to think that there will be multiple story missions per level and that you would still have to grind out some xp to level up on top of that. I don't want to cap out and beat the story in like 10-15 hours. I won't be satisfied if that's all it is. I'm really hoping that leveling up takes twice as long in the full version.

The full release leveling up will be 2x harder I believe.

Thats the point so why waste another 5 hours of everyones time when we'll be right back where we were in a damn blink.

Because that's not fair to others and like the other guy said the game and concepts and story could all be different. It's defiantly subject to change. Also it's a beta. Did I mention it's a beta?. Oh it's a beta. Betas are early access and characters get wiped because it's just a test. You could of just waited and played when the game comes out. Beleive it or not beta isn't just for having fun it's to help the game.
