I tried to use the hand cannon but I couldn't do it. It's not horrible but it's outclassed by every other weapon. I feel like I have to work ten times harder than everyone else to get a kill. Here's how I would fix it. 1) Faster reload or more ammo per clip to make up for the slow reload. The hand cannon is intended to be a close range weapon but it's reload speed is awful and because the ammo capacity is so small you have to make almost every shot or you're boned. Faster reload or more ammo would be appreciated. 2) More damage on critical hits. It should not take 3-4 shots to kill someone. That's more than half my clip. If I'm fighting more than one guy then I'm dead even if I have perfect aim. 3) Reduction to recoil and increase in range. Primary weapons are supposed to be your all-around go to weapon but hand cannons feel like a special weapon. They're only really effective at close range. Hand cannons should be a bit more effective at mid-range if they're going to be a primary. The hand cannon should be a close to mid-range primary and scout rifle should be the mid to long range primary.
