The addition of split screen co-op would most likely improve the gameplay however the 3 player squads may have to become 4 player squads also this would allow for more players but may reduce bungie's profits. But, with the addition of a split screen system may also increase bungie's profits because it makes a game that is already popular and has a lot of hype even more popular and may increase sales for bungie, this would not only have the potential to help out bungie it would also improve most player's experience and they may have more fun when playing side by side with a friend of a family member.
