D pad for synth packs before a map!!
-
How the hell would a map be beneficial? The maps are by no means intricate and your damn ghost shows you the waypoint, maps would be even more useless than sitting down.
-
Get rid of point, sitting is badass
-
Why not both? You sit down and read your map.
-
I say keep the sit button, but pull up a slightly larger than mini mini-map in the top right corner.
-
What the heck am I gonna do when I get tired?!?!? ever think of that? geez guys
-
Omg yes make this happen. Also we need to summon the Sparrow on the d pad too.
-
leave it as it is
-
I love the sit button surprisingly enough I used it a lot

Edited by EVIL VENOM: 9/2/2014 2:33:42 AMNo the sit button is awesome. Kill your opponent and then sit on Their body lol I did this in the beta
-
i rather not have a map :3
-
The should do it so u can bring up a map when u pull up your ghost
-
Are you just plain crazy! you're spitting pure bologna with this idea. How the Darkness are our guardians going to rest after murdering hordes of Fallen, if we cant have them sit. Are they supposed to Dance? Oh i suppose they could wave, yes that's very relaxing. Think about the guardians man.
-
I like the sit button and love the no map. Go out and explore
-
Nooooooooooo I love the sit button. Me and my friend loved just sitting on a roof in old Russia waiting to farm the devil walker.
-
But if your guardian can't sit, how else are they going to rest? Standing and running around all day sucks.
-
Why would you want a map man? Where is the challenge if you have a map? You gotta keep things interesting, the game wouldn't be as fun if you know where you are going, that's the whole point of exploring! :)
-
Keep the D-pad options. If they were to add a map option, I believe the best way to implement it into a game would be to press the back button, that brings up the Ghosts, and press a button to activate the map. It makes sense since the Ghost basically helps you out with every other task.

Oh another, "remove the dancing" post. Joy.
-
The stages in Destiny aren't that large at all really. You can memorize where you're going after a few go arounds. If there's one thing I think Destiny was over-hyped about was the size of the stages you get to play in. If the celing has an invisible wall, then there's no such thing as open world in this game.
-
Forget the map, I'd rather have it as a flashlight.
-
Don't need a map, learn to navigate the area, after all, you are exploring.
-
Drop the stupid dancing while you're at it. Total waste of the d-pad.
-
A map would reduce the idea of exploring the world to find new things about it. I played both the alpha and beta and each time I found something new in old russia. Also, the locations aren't that hard to remember once you go through them.
-
Oooooohhhhh I just had a great idea what if we had a ghost star. He'd be like "in 20feet take a right guardian".
-
I could see there being a map. We found that map room in Old Russia in the second mission. Can't we just download that to our ghosts and use it? I mean when you hit the View button/TouchPad your ghost comes up and it clearly says Nav Mode in the top right. So he can bring you back from the dead but not provide a simple overlay of the whole area? Lol It doesn't have to be a super specific map with hidden locations and stuff. Just make it like the big one in that room. Basic overlay and where you're standing. Only make it show when the Ghost is deployed, that way it isn't always on the screen and the people who don't want it don't have to look at it 24/7. Thoughts?
