More varied missions more areas more interesting NPCs private lobbies split screen maybe more creative game modes more diff types of guns glimmer individual for one account etc

The glimmer you earn for each character is different because you do each mission with each character. They are all individual characters.

No but for different characters on one account, both have linked Glimmer banks like I have one Hunter and one Warlock Account and both have 800 glimmer, so If i buy a gun, then it will deduct from the overall glimmer so I will have lets say 670 Glimmer left over for both accounts

Wow. I just checked that on my account. That's totally unnecessary! I totally agree with you. There should also be a vehicle specialty where if you have a different jumpship you have access to only certain areas. And the Sparrows should have different attributes and a laser weapon attachment as you level as well.
