Start at the top and go down until you find something you like. If there's nothing there, then go back one year and repeat.
Really the issue at hand is what genres do you like?
I'm FPSs, 3PSs, Action/Adventure and RPGs with a smattering of other interests such as Tower Defense.

I'm into just about any genre, sometimes my only issue is content and gameplay. Ex. I couldn't get into either Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas because quest spam, even though you didn't have to do everything, I felt too burdened.
