Dark souls 2 PRAISE THE SUN
FINALLY. After months of screaming and tears I have beaten DA2. The hardest boss Imo was (besides ancient dragon) King vendrick in the undead crypt. Anyone else struggle with him? If not who or what area kept you yelling at your T.v

Ancient dragon was incredibly easy to find out how to cheese for me, personally. So long as you stand in between the toes on the back legs, the only attacks that will occur are the back stomps. Just hit him 2-3 times, and run in between the toes on the other back foot the moment the one you're at begins to raise. For me, the one boss that gave me tons of trouble was smelter demon. I don't really care for the gyrm greatshield (ugly as hell, yo) so I'm always gimping myself for that fight.

1 ReplyI actually was terribly aggravated by Vendrick until a friend told me a somewhat cheap but rather effective tactic he used. If you stay behind his left leg at all times, there is no way he can hit you with any of his attacks. All you have to do is just wait for him to attack, and then you attack while he's recovering from it, and repeat. For me though, hardest boss probably was the Smelter Demon (at least until I chickened out and used a Gyrm shield)
