His Grand father says that he was autistic. Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think it's a a good idea to let scouts have access to weapons.

As a former scout myself this saddens me. It's dangerous and reckless to allow people of that age to have firearms unsupervised. Now, i have no problem with scouts, or anyone responsibly engaging in shooting sports like skeet shooting and target shooting, it belongs at the range under the strict supervision of a professional. It's clear there was a HUGE lapse in supervision and safety protocols because in the scouts, any time a dangerous activity or item (knives, axes etc.) is involved, scouts have to go through very strict safety training. So as far as firearms go, i have no problem with scouts using them, so long as it's at a proper firing range with good supervision
