This is awesome man! you are the baws!!! I hope we get to go inside one of the these volcanoes, as in explore some of the volcanic caves. That sounds like a good time to me. Maybe have a raid or strike where the ground is falling apart and lava is spewing at your feet and you have to dodge it and kill aliens. mhmmm... Gonna be some good shite!!!

Hate to spoil the party, but our best guesses indicate that Mars is geologically dead, no lava. Of course the traveller could have fixed that during the golden age.

Eh, one of the biggest issues with colonizing Mars is the lack of a magnetic field to ward off solar radiation. This would likely be solved if humanity had set up flourishing cities on it. And one way to set up a planet sized magnetic field is to get the core back up and running. The traveller probably could do this.
