There is making "[i]money off a game[/i]" and then there is "[i]ripping gamers off[/i]". And charging $5 per perk card if a rip-off. Imaging the posts on this site if the COD perks cost $5 per pop. Plus there is the small point of bungie claiming they would not go down the path of this type of milking, nor the pay-to-win style game. But I guess you think that is a great idea as well?

5 bucks is cheap. If there was something in cod that was 5 bucks and I wanted it. I would pay the 5 bucks. Vote with your wallet. If you don't want it, don't pay. That's how it works. You don't think it's worth it, so don't pay for it. Really quite simple. I think a Ferrari is overpriced. I will not buy one. Someone with enough money wants to pay for it. They will.

Well I'm not gonna worry about PvP. For rockets and special weapons they still don't start with ammo and they have to acquire it first. The rest of the game what they have doesn't affect my game.

Wont be a problem, especially with any rocket as you will want to hold back anyway, await the fresh meat to enter the kill zone. Going to be a very boring game if your not into PvP - the guts of the game is in the online content :(

None of the developers at Bungie have said anything about micro-transactions if that's what your were referring to with your [quote]cheap at $25 per pack.[/quote] comment. Seeing as the game isn't going to use a free to play type structure this won't be the case.

Technically CoD is a free to play platform now. Bungie may not have a say in the matter. Activision is ruthless when it comes to pricing and will not hesitate to -blam!- the game up in some form or another. It all depends on the contract.

lol I don't actually care what he's saying. I just reply to ppl like that stating the truth so others aren't fooled. After all I couldn't care less as to what ppl say on here when it comes to Destiny as I will find out for myself when the game is released.
