Kind of a dumb question, but by buying on greenlight I'm paying to the author or to some unofficial translator? The first only makes sense, but some visual novels on greenlight seem so unprofessional I might as well ask.

Sekai Project is the group translating it, and they are working directly with the indie Japanese Company "Spicy Tails" who initially created it. So I imagine some money goes to Spicy Tails (and the author, who is part of Spicy Tails), but some money also goes to the (official) translators.
