It's simple screenwriting. Boba Fett is not a round character. There would be no internal struggles, and no arc. He would just run around and kill stuff.

I guess you've never read the books (yes I know they're now null in the canon). Boba Fett has perfectly good potential to be a well-rounded, fleshed out character.

The problem isn't him being a well rounded character. He is certainly very full, but he's not a [i]round[/i] character, which is different from being rounded. He doesn't arc, and at the end of the day, he is either justified in his ambitions, or swears revenge and never learns anything on a moral level.

Which I agree to an extent. That's why I said in a comment to the OP that if they do make a Fett movie, he shouldn't be the main character.
