I'm wondering if there is a community for comics here, maybe a group or something so we can discuss comics and get recommendations for new ones. Anyway for the sake of discussion what comics have you read and what are your favorite?
My favorite currently is Superman Rebirth.

Bit expensive for my tastes. Been trying to find a good site for free ones.

I'm interested in comics, but uncertain where to start.

Only following the X-Men books ATM. Pleasantly surprised at All New X-Men so far

Batman Eternal, and Archer and Armstrong for me. I hate that they changed the Comixology app. It is awful now. A step back in every way.

I read the Marvel Zombies series earlier.

Kind of, read a few batman and superman comics. Just ordered Batman: Court of the Owls which will be my first foray into the New 52 so I'll see how that is tomorrow.

Edited by Crazy Llama: 6/26/2014 1:50:12 PMI mostly read Batman but Spider-Man is also up there as my favorite hero. I currently own about 20 graphic novels pertaining to either Batman or the Bat-family, I haven't counted in awhile. I have a standing subscription to Batman. As for Spider-Man I mostly have stuff from the Ultimate run before Peter died, though I do read Amazing in /co/, when it's story-timed and I try to keep up with it.

I've been reading some less mainstream comics lately. I'm sure you've never heard of them.

I do. Just picked up Batman #32 and Superman Unchained #8. So excited to read them! Batman Eternal is REALLY good. I like the weekly issues, but it's costing me a lot. Aquaman could be better. I miss Reis/Johns team up. So far, Unchained is my favourite story. It's like the Court of Owls for Superman.

Haven't been reading comics in a while, Hoping to get some of the new ones soon tho.

I used to love comics and collect them. Call me crazy but I liked the Venom series. Venom from Spider-Man was always the greatest comic book villain. Then to have him go semi good guy and produce children. Awesome!

Manga :D

Edited by Baumguy: 6/26/2014 7:23:57 AMI'm a huge Spider-Man fan, and ever since I got into comics a few years back, Dan Slott has been killing it with his Amazing/Superior runs. I couldn't be more excited for Spider-Verse and the Edge of Spider-Verse tie-ins! And write that down, guys. You'll probably never hear about me being excited for tie-ins again. Kaine Parker is probably my favorite comic book character, though. I love all the attention he's been getting in Amazing (and, again, he's supposed to be a key player in Spider-Verse, so yeah). It also helps that everything Chris Yost touches seems to turn to gold. I'm actually really enjoying his run on New Warriors so far. I've also been picking up Elektra lately. The art is really beautiful (amazingly so), and the story seems pretty solid so far. Those are about the only three comics I'm REALLY interested in right now. I keep telling myself I need to expand my horizon to more than just Marvel Comics, but there's just so many different things at Marvel worth paying attention to right now, and I've been trying to keep my pull list as small as possible lately (It got REALLY ridiculous at one point with all the new #1's Marvel had been releasing). Three is kind of my limit right now. And even that is sketchy, since Amazing ships twice a month...
