Halo is known for split screen, not Bungie games. There is a bit of difference there. As for whether or not Destiny will have split screen, we don't know. Bungie has been suspiciously tight lipped on the subject, and looking at the game and how we've seen it played, how we know they want the story to unfold, and the lack of any type of info on it, I would guess it will not be included.
