I think it already does that on the PS4.... But I may be wrong.

Edited by nao: 5/13/2014 6:00:18 AMYep. PS+ is only required for multiplayer. Its not needed for apps, f2p games, or anything else. In contrast right now I can't even use the internet browser on my 360 because I let my gold sub expire :/

The PS4, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Vita, 3DS, smart phones, smart TV's, tablets. The 360 and XB1 are literally the only devices that lock this stuff behind a paywall. It's madness.
