Custom Visors and Armor (Requests OPEN)
With Xbox Live screwing up today, making me lose my 49 in Team Doubles due to several occasions where my partner disconnected before the match even started, I came to the forums and remembered how there were a few colored visor threads, notably Village Idiot77's [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=14769515&postRepeater1-p=1]Visor Color Examples[/url]. So using his thread as inspiration I went ahead and made my own set of custom visors using photoshop. Click the slideshow link if you want to see them all one after another, or click any of the individual links so you can see them in greater detail. Please let me know what you think.

I was gonna make some custom stuff for Elites but I couldn't figure out what to do with them. Xbox Live is STILL messed up, so I went back to making stuff for spartans. Instead of visors, I change the way the armor looks. This took much more time than it did for me to just change the color of the visor. Click the slideshow to see them all in succession or click any of the individual links to see one in greater detail. Take a look and tell me what you think.

It's been 5 months, and I did say before that I'd make more but I haven't. Time for that to change. But I'll need your help. Give me ideas for more types of armor and visors. I don't expect to receive lots of ideas, but even still I'm only going to use the best ones.

I dont think bungie is going to introduce camo patterns in MM because some would be great for conclealing a sniper, or other such camper, and would come off to be a bit unfair in FFA games. Thats why the colors we have now are bright, and almost chearful, so none of them, not even grey, really conceal you. Great work though.

My friend, this is a brilliant idea. I don't know why, but I find that my armor would go well with a green visor. I would love to some more of these! ~PePena

I wanted to photoshop an Elite aswell, but Elites have active camo (Campaign wise), so it wouldn't make sense if I photoshopped them with army patterns.

Lets say Bungie will add exactly all of theese.... Then we Elites will really have a reason on why we think the Elites are left out...

If bungie did this they could make so that if you get a ranking over 40 or 3 days of playtime. or be evil and make it worth 400 Micro-points to have these kind of skins so the effort would make everyone happy to be able to customize more and they get money. Yes this would make it like other games but it would make you feel like a person not a clone. I like Red urban and the red or silver visor. I want to see a visor that has a Black, oil like reflection.

I know there's no chance something like this camo stuff to be included in Halo 3, which is why I've stated before these pics are just for fun. We're allowed to dream, right?

I think the visors are a great idea, but the custom armor....its simply too fancy. Too good to be true...if such armor were introduced, why would anyone use one of the standard colors? Why have green when you can have jungle. Know what I'm sayin? All of the other standard colors we use today would never be used again...and Bungie doesn't like the sound of that.

Elites could have mirror or pearl red contact lens AKA visors or no visor at all like the Arbiter.You could also make the armor all scratched and burnt and whatnot.

They're all pretty nice however, brutal armor was a little overdone, but that was the only big issue silver, mirror, red, gray, blue were my favorite visors I like al the urban armors

Yes I used photoshop to make these. The camo patterns Swedish, Red Urban, Covie, Marsh, and Aquatic I made on my own, for the rest I used pictures of camo patterns on the internet. [Edited on 01.01.2008 4:28 PM PST]
